Install the show
To host the live stream you can create and copy your embed code using the below link, but before you begin, please read the information regarding the Embed Code for the live stream below: https://admin.blivenyc.com/s/embeds/b-3680-Umeil/distro
1. Choosing embed code options:
There are two options of embed code type - Javascript or iFrame. There are also two options on the sizing - responsive (recommended) or static. Please choose the type and size appropriate for your site.
2. Copy the code:
The embed code can be installed ahead of show time as the install will display the pre slate until the show goes live. No code change or refresh by the viewer is required.
3. Paste the code into your site:
Paste the code and test it. You will know it is installed when you see the pre state, an image indicating tune-in time. A video player will not appear until the actual show time. At the show time the embed will flip to the video automatically. You will not need to change code and no refresh by the user is needed.Advanced options are also available, if you wish to have more control over the video experience and you can use the optional querystring values in your embed code.
Options for streaming the show on Social Media
To stream the show on your social media, we advise primarily to share our events and permalinks to the show, which you can easily do via native social media functionalities. Alternatively, for larger channels we have options to provide a managed or semi-managed solution where we stream directly into your channel upon request. Below is an overview of the options currently possible and in order to request one of those please go through your PR or Local Market contact.

MANAGED You can grant temporary editor rights to Tommy's live streaming team. We will fully control the stream implementation, testing and go-live according to any requirements you have. This has limited availability - SEMI-MANAGED You can provide the persistent stream key to Tommy's live streaming team so that you can receive the live stream feed directly in your page. Managing the event setup, testing, QA and go-live are on your side. This has limited availabilityOf course, you may also share the permalink from our primary Facebook page.
- Youtube

SEMI-MANAGED You can provide the RTMP & Stream key for your YT Channel to Tommy's live streaming team so that you can receive the live stream feed directly in your channel. Managing the event setup, testing, QA and go-live are on your side. This has limited availability - Twitter
MANAGED You can provide login/password to Tommy's live streaming team. We will fully control the stream implementation, testing and go-live according to any requirements you have. This has limited availabilityOf course, you may also share the permalink from our primary Twitter page. - Instagram
MANAGED You can provide login/password to Tommy's live streaming team so we can feed the fully mixed show (with proper show lighting & music) to your Instagram Live. This has limited availability

This year the live stream pre-show announcements (as seen below) will automatically update during the different phases leading up to the show.

When reaching out for support first collect the answers to the 5 questions below so that we can quickly address the situation.
- What issue are you seeing, any error messages?
- What CMS are you using?
- Are you using the Javascript or iFrame embed code?
- If possible, provide a link to the page where you are experiencing the issue.
- What device, operating system and browser are you experiencing it in? (ex. desktop/mac/safari or iphone/ios11/chrome)
